This sales role requires an individual who is committed to quality, strong attention to detail while presenting, promoting, and selling to existing and prospective customers to contribute to the overall growth of our company. Salary

Combination of salary and Tiered Commission based on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

Be punctual, helpful, responsible, and honest.

Adhere to all established standards, policies and practices relating to safety and quality.

Establishes, develops, and maintains meaningful relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the company products/services.

Handle sales transactions that span coast to coast, including some international exports, expanding the company’s reach and market influence.

Become familiar with Jones Mfg. history, products, how they operate, and be able to demonstrate how to run equipment.

Must be able to listen to the customer’s needs and concerns before and after sale.

Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or networking at Ag shows across U.S and Canada, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional and industry organizations.

Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products or services

Perform all required duties and/or additional duties as requested or assigned.

Work efficiently and effectively individually and as team member with other departments that support the manufacturing process.

Qualifications & skills needed.

Able to remain focused and productive throughout the day.

Must be able to use verbal and written skills to communicate effectively, basic documentation and computer skills.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural and machinery industry.

Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to travel extensively throughout the US and obtain passport for outside U.S. travel if needed.

Strong organizational and time management skills

High school Diploma or equivalent required and clean driving record.

Physical endurance, as you may need to be on feet for long hours, spend a lot of time traveling between locations and carry heavy products.
