Our company is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team! This person is responsible for fabricating electrical harnesses and assemblies, installing wiring used in the assembly and integration of agriculture equipment. Salary
Hourly wage starting based off experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Be punctual, helpful, responsible, and honest.
Maintain clean workspace area/environment.
Adhere to all established standards, policies and practices relating to safety and quality.
Read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wire diagrams.
Understand wiring processes and identify errors, accuracy and neat wiring practices required.
Manufacturing wiring harnesses and electrical assemblies with single or multiple breakout points as well as single or multiple terminations points, control/relay boxes and remote packages.
Review Electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
Ordering needed parts for repairs and maintaining adequate inventory.
Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends and advancements in fabrication techniques.
Perform all required duties and/or additional duties as requested or assigned.
Work efficiently and effectively as an individual and a team member.
Complete and submit all quality checklists, production time worksheets and requested documents at designated time.
Operate and maintain machinery in compliance with all safety policies of our facility.
Qualifications/skills needed
Able to remain focused and productive throughout the day.
Must be able to use verbal, written skills to communicate effectively, basic documentation and computer skills.
Knowledge/background of automotive wiring desired.
Experience with welding in a manufacturing environment helpful.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to work in various physical positions to include but not limited to: sitting, standing and walking up to 8 hours a day, lift minimum of 25 lbs.
High school Diploma or equivalent required and clean driving record.
Willing to cross train and assist other departments.
