Our company is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to be an essential part of our manufacturing team! This person is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management and customer service at the Parts Junction location. Salary
Hourly wage starting based on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Be punctual, helpful, responsible, and honest.
Adhere to all established standards, policies and practices relating to safety and quality.
Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner along with informing customers of companion parts requirements.
Answering phone calls, providing pricing, shipping quotes and other information.
Prepare and fulfill customer, work, and shipping orders accurately.
Receive delivered part, supplies, materials, and equipment. Confirm that delivered goods match purchase order specification of quantity, condition, part number, etc.
Responsible for properly packaging parts to be shipped and receive returned shipments from customers to include notifying and properly crediting accounts in timely manner.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
Conduct in periodic physical inventory of all parts and materials (count, reports, etc.).
Perform all required duties and/or additional duties as requested or assigned.
Work efficiently and effectively as an individual and a team member.
Operate and maintain machinery in compliance with all safety policies of our facility including but not limited to a clean workspace area/environment.
Qualifications/skills needed
Able to remain focused and productive throughout the day and prioritize the needs of the company.
Must be able to use verbal and written skills to communicate effectively, proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office and have the ability to adapt and master company programs relating to duties.
Possess the ability to adjust to constantly changing workloads.
Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain procedures, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to maintain relationships with vendors.
Attention to detail is critical, exceptional problem-solving, organizational skills and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in various physical positions to include but not limited to: sitting, standing and walking up to 8 hours a day, lift minimum of 25 lbs.
High school Diploma or equivalent required and clean driving record.
Willing to cross train and assist other departments.
